California Education Corporation has been dedicating to improve the homestay experience for American host families and international students in the past years. It is not just a room renting, it is more about sharing a different culture, and for international students to be part of an American family to obtain the cross-cultural exchange. The experience of hosting an international student is different for every family. CEC is available to guide host families yearlong to host international students. Here are the expectations for hosting our students,

 CEC provides host family orientation.

 CEC student local coordinator, working with host families with issues, check-ins and always be a phone call away if needed.

 Compensation to cover the cost of the international students’ hosting.

 CEC matches students and host families based on interests, mutual expectations.

 CEC students can speak English to conduct daily communication.

 Successful host-family referrals will be rewarded with a $100 bonus. A successful referral is any family that is placed with a      student.
